The AGILE project is a five-year initiative of the Federal government with the support from world Bank. It aims to improve secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls and empower them to earn a living. The seven participating states include Borno, Ekiti, Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Kebbi, and Plateau. The project seeks to support the Government of Nigeria and State-level education programs in the states covering secondary education, thus contributing to Nigeria’s long-term objective of human capital development for sustaining economic growth and poverty reduction.

Upperlink Limited provided technical support to Katsina State by enabling the effective and transparent disbursement of funds through a secure and easy to use portal system developed by our inhouse programmers. The portal was used to register beneficiaries and create a digital database from the approved list of beneficiaries as well as document identity through ID and face capture. The platform also facilitated the smooth disbursement of funds through its payment management features This project was done in partnership with fidelity bank and Interswitch. Through the hard work and dedication of all parties involved, Katsina State has also emerged best overall state in the AGILE project. For more information on the Katsina state AGILE project, visit
